Award Winning Ashland Photogrpher Sean Bagshaw’s Incredible Journey

20 May 2009

I, Sean Bagshaw, am an Ashland photographer because of the many awesome favorable circumstances for Ashland photography in Southern Oregon. There are a bunch of of places I might have considered to live, and lots of locations I’d live. Since arriving in Ashland Oregon to head off to  university in 1986, I have yet to see another city I’d rather exist in. Since the beginnings of my occupation as a photographer in Southern Oregon I have more reason to locate myself in the Rogue Valley near Ashland. I travel quite a lot to photograph in several different regions of the USA and the globe, but being a local Ashland, Oregon photographer I always have great openings for photography close to home. I quit often go out to photograph in the town or in the nearby mountains and orchards on the early end of the morning. Spring and fall are my most loved seasons of the year to take Ashland photos.

In April, Ashland is just getting into its premium spring phase. From mid April and mid June I endeavor to photograph Ashland or the close by locals once or more times a week to keep up with the quickly altering weather conditions, land and air and the shifting of seasons. I make several visits to many of my favorite destinations, for example Lithia Park, The Plaza, Main Street, Emigrant Lake, Grizzly Top and the encircling hills.

The sister city connection between Ashland and Guanajuato was formally established in 1969.  I have shot many beautiful pictures in that amazing Mexican city also.  I am lucky to have been in many beautiful and photogenic places.

While I am just about always trying to find new and exciting locations to locate great pictures I can always remain a southern Oregon shutter-bug and will continue to take Ashland photographs for a considerable time to come.
