Canon EF 50mm f1.4 USM Lens – The Facts And features
Many photographers will admit that their favourite lens would be the 50mm f1 4 canon USM Lens because its light, compact, fast and most of all inexpensive. It would be hard for any photographer, professional or not, to not like this lens.

Unfortunatly no lens is perfect and the Canon 50mm lens 1.4 is no exception. Because the casing of the lens is made from plastic it feels cheap. When using a 5 blade aperture you can get quite a harsh background blur and flaring can also be a problem on occasion.

This lens may have a few negatives but it the amount of positive qualities makes it all worth it. It is still a cheap and light weight camera lens that performs exceptionally well for its price. So all in all, the Canon EF 50mm f1.4 USM Lens is defiantly worth a look.
