People don’t really know how to tell the differences between digital and classic photography. Some people are simply too young to have owned an old film camera, others don’t care about electronics so much. People who do know what they are talking about usually fight about it. Some consider digital photography a grosser alteration of reality, others claim that classic cameras are outdated and not worth the effort. And the debate become more and more interesting as professionals step in. Those who use digital photography as an art, are aware of the advantages of classic photography as well, and can’t tell witch is best.
The ones that stand behind classic photography say that the digitals arts have managed to alter and disguise reality in such a way that the ordinary viewer of a certain picture is not even allowed to express his beliefs. Macro that allows you to bring the subject forward is the function that gave birth to this affirmation. Because macro is designed to ignore environment and focus all light and exposure toward the center areas, only the subject will be clearly visible. Playing with shades and bringing this central areas in the first visual field makes people less critical of the picture and this is considered bad. Some voices militate even against flash. They even say night shots taken with flash return unreal imaged that can be considered as computer developed. They claim that night pictures are not meant to strike out certain details and they should only reveal the big picture, covered in darkness and shades.
Across the street yell the ones that adore digital photography, trying to make themselves heard. These people appreciate the macro because it makes life so much easier and loved one so much more visible in picture. They don’t want different individuals to come and point out other attraction points in their image, they simply want everyone to see what they saw when they looked at a certain scene or person. And are thankful for having flash when the light is not so good and they still want to take a picture.
Even if you might believe it, digital photography could never ruin images. This form of photography is not only easier and more accessible, but also let expensive and more versatile than classic photography.. photo printing online
