Digital Photos in Winter
In winter we are used to facing cold days and heavy snows. Unfortunately, all these winter signs affect the way you should regard digital photography. But the most important thing is to feel good; it’s essential to be comfortable while you’re photographing, if you are in front of the subject of your photographic life and all you can think of are your wet shocks, the pain in your ear and how nice a hot tea would feel right now, then the picture is ruined. if you plan on shooting pictures of winter sports of wonderful snowy mountains, wear something that won’t make you remember how cold it really is When dressing, put on several t-shirts rather than just one sweater, they can assure warmth for a longer time and if it turns out to be too hot outside you can get them off easier. If you feet and head are warm, you will endure cold temperatures easier.
You will also need impermeable boots and some gloves. But don’t over do it with the gloves. Of course you can’t manipulate your camera if you can’t feel you hands, but did you try to manipulate it with gloves that have just one finger? I dare you to try it! If you don’t have any gloves that can offer both warmth and free movement, then simply take them off only in the brief moments you actually need to push the buttons. This way you can do everything with gloves, except for the final part when you have to push the buttons on the camera, and then for a brief few seconds you can take the gloves off and take the wanted pictures.
it’s so cold that you are worried for you digital camera, and you should be, because it’s sensible to such low temperature. do not hit the camera against anything, not even by accident, handle it very easy when it’s so cold because its durability factor decreases a lot during cold temperatures. Battery changing on such cold days while outside should be done with extreme care, because even breathing vapors could turn to moist inside the battery compartment and produce an irreversible reaction Also, do not change memory cards while you are outside and the weather is too cold or too moist. For obvious reasons.
Another issue about winter days is the bright snow that can get the auto function of your digital photography device all screwed up. Usually, digital camera darken the main subject by a scale of 18% gray, so when snow is the subject, if you leave the camera appreciate where it begins and ends then you might realize it will return in the picture a grey snow. Also, don’t be reluctant about using flash, I know it seems highly improbable to be needed because snow causes your eyes to hurt, that’s how bright and luminous it is. snapfish review
