Don’t Let Your Digital Camera Get The Better Of You
Since the price of the camera increases with the amount of megapixels, you should first analyze what you will use the camera for. If you will mainly use it to take shots for your blog or will not likely print anything larger than a 5×7 there is no reason why you should go for something higher than a 4.0 megapixel camera. Save your budget for other features and accessories instead of investing in megapixels you will not use.
You don’t want to believe everything your read and hear from sales clerks and websites, you’ll want some first hand experience. Playing around with someone else’s SLR either from a buddy, or a friendly camera store will give you a chance to form your own opinion about each camera. This canon 450d user tips and this buy a650 is should help.
The XTI is a great camera and sells for a good price, but I felt that it was getting a bit outdated. The D80 is also a good camera, but I felt that it needed an upgrade on the features. It had no sensor cleaning and doesn’t come with a VR lens. So basically, I would be buying a 2006-model camera two years after its release. That’s just not right.
The XSi also has great image quality, good skin tones, and has very little noise. I would have gotten the D80 if it had the same features found in XSi; namely, auto-sensor cleaning, highlight tone priority, and pre-bundled VR lens.
In many cases, this can be something good, as a 200mm lens becomes as good as a 300mm, which is much more expensive. But, in other cases, a 24mm wide lens would turn in a 36mm, and the photographer might not want that.
Being willing is a good step, but knowing a few good camera sites to start with can make all the difference. Researching online can be a seemingly never ending process.
The nice thing about this camera is it can hold a memory card larger than two gigabytes. This camera has the ability to shoot three frames per second.
Although you will find that DVD camcorders are more expensive than Mini DV, they will still save you a lot of trouble. DVD camcorders are capable of saving images straight to your digital video disc which you can keep for a long time.
