May we have special requests?
Sadie’s is not a cookie cutter photography studio. We pride ourselves in creating and recording that special moment and then printing it for you to cherish. Feel free to make special requests and we will do our best to fulfill that request. Sometimes, depending on the attention span of a child, we are unable to complete these requests, but we will do our best.You will want to bring your child in your or their favorite outfit for their Traditional and Vintage poses. Sadie’s has an assortment of costumes and props for your creative portraits. Your child can be dressed in just a diaper or as a fairy princess, cowboy, fireman, knight, and ballerina. Newborns and infants can be naked for that precious bare bottom pose. Costumes vary by location. For best results, avoid small close plaid patterns. Solid, non-bright colors usually look the best.

Can I purchase holiday or birth announcement cards?
Cards are available for Holiday and special occasions. Cards may be purchased as 4×8′s or 5×7′s. Most of our selections allow you to personalize your cards with your name or a greeting. Visit our Pricing Page for updated prices.Your 12×18 and smaller portraits are available to pick up in about an hour. We can also mail them to you, if you request, with a shipping fee. Any large format and specialty prints are available in about 4-6 weeks. Prints needing custom enhancements, custom coloring, retouching or other special items are available in about 48 hours, not including weekends. CD’s and Holiday or Announcement cards are available in about 48 hours.

What are the different sizes of portraits available?
Sadie’s provides many individual sheet combinations, packages, large format, cards, and specialty prints on various media formats. You should visit our Pricing Page to see all of the various sizes and prices.Yes. Some packages include basic retouching (softening wrinkles and lightening bags under the eyes) and prints include retouching.

What price is your wedding coverage?
Packages start a $1495 but it is essential that you call us for a consultation. We will go through all the steps, all the recommendations, all your desires and concerns to help make your day a great success.Portrait sessions take about 30 minutes including setup and clean up. That leaves about 20-25 minutes for taking pictures. A typical child has an attention span of about 15 minutes and we will do our best to achieve the poses that create your one of a kind portrait during this time frame.

Q…..I want to pose with my boyfriend. How “steamy” can it be?
A…Not very. Playful..yes. Teasing..yes. Steamy..no. Nothing that even remotely resembles sexual activity is allowed.Unfortunately Sadie’s cannot accommodate portraits taken in multiple theme rooms during one appointment. Other customers may be occupying other rooms but more importantly you will want to return again and again as the children age to create new poses for them. Taking poses in all of the rooms in one sitting would be expensive and you would never be able to hang all of those fantastic portraits. Visit Sadie’s frequently for years and create new designs as your child grows and changes.

When may I pick up my portraits?

CD’s and Holiday or Announcement cards are available in about 48 hours.A dark ribbed sweater, or a dark shirt with a collar is best. If you have blonde hair, then medium colors are better. Avoid white and light colors. Something with texture, or some sheen is also good, such as microfiber or rayon.
