These Digital Cameras Are For The Young At Heart

21 July 2009

Although this article is not about professional cameras, a quick note on DSLR’s is needed. The body of the SLR is usually sold separately from the lenses, allowing the photographer to choose the ones needed for a particular picture.

It’s the first camera in its class that is environmentally sealed. While some models can only save medium quality JPEG, the Pentax K200D allows high quality JPEG and RAW saving at the same time (RAW+).

The model supports any Pentax lens that was ever made. In-body stabilization – it’s a very neat feature. It translates to the lenses you buy and not once did it save my shots. This top rated digital cameras and this comparison of nikon d60 and sony a300 should help nikon p1500.

If any digital camera manufacturer could be accused of trying to make everyone happy all the time, it’s Canon. Not that they necessarily succeed all the time, but they do deserve plenty of kudos for trying. Of course, Nikon, Pentax, Olympus and others make some excellent contenders in the categories cited above. As much as I like Canon, I wouldn’t hesitate to consider another manufacturer for the right reasons. Which Canon digital camera is right for you may turn out to not be a Canon after all.

If your wondering which Canon digital camera is right for you, then you’ve obviously made a decision already. You’ve decided to limit your search to Canon. That’s not a bad choice, and some would argue it’s a really good one. Others wouldn’t. For the record, I like Canon, and have been happy with several Canon products over the years. There are plenty of good reasons for both sides of this argument.

Hopefully those few tips will help get you started. I’m sure, that as you go along you’ll come up with a few more. Camera shopping doesn’t have to be a scary experience. With a little practice, soon you’ll be the one handing out free advice.

My first digital SLR camera was a Digital Rebel, bought in 2003. A top SLR camera will change the quality of your photos. I bought that camera five years ago and in this period of time I took around 25,000 photos, though not all with the same camera. My second camera was another great digital camera, a Canon 30D. When they announced the 40D model, I thought I should wait a bit more, until the 50D will be launched, but I still wanted a second camera until then. That camera was the Xsi/450D.

If you want something very easy to use, you need a simple model, a point and shoot camera. Just like the name says, point and shoot models allow you to simply point the camera to the subject, then click and the photo is taken. Because the camera is automated, you can take photos even if you’re not a professional, and the quality will be very good.
